Redwoods

Hooray!  What a fantastic day.  We went to the Redwoods and we went to the little Redwoods for morning tea.  It was a bumpy track.  After morning tea we started walking to the big Redwoods.  We went on the purple track.  It was steep and slippery.  I was tired.  Finally we got to the big redwoods and it was humungous.  We went hunting for cicadas on the trees and I found 21 and we got to make huts and I used big logs and pinecones.  Me and Maxwell and Rashil found water.

Making Feijoa Ice Cream

First we put frozen pieces of feijoa and banana in the food processor.  Next we put in chopped fresh feijoas and mint leaves.  We put honey too to make it sweet. Mrs Blakesley turned the switch on. The blade went fast and chopped it all up until it was smooth.  Mrs Blakesley put some ice cream in a bowl.  It tasted delicious.
